Michael A. Vitale, born in Newark, New Jersey in 1954, is a founding member of the firm. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois. Mr. Vitale is a 1979 graduate of Washington University School of Law where he was a member of the Order of Barristers. He received a B.A. degree from Lake Forest College in Illinois in 1976 where he was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Mr. Vitale is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation Section) as well as the Missouri and Illinois Bar Associations and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He is also a member of the National Italian American Bar Association, and Secretary of its St. Louis Chapter. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Mr. Vitale has practiced primarily in the area of civil litigation and appeals since 1979 and has extensive beanch and jury trial experience in both federal and state courts. His practice areas include employment law (representing management), zoning and real estate disputes, product liability, licensing and trademark issues , and general commercial litigation. He counsels management clients with respect to general employment and licensing issues.
Mr. Vitale is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, Missouri.
